The MOA's Premier Training events were so popular in 2019 we've expanded the program for 2020! There are FIVE classes this year, including one just for women. Each class has 14 spots available to MOA members.

Pricing for the 2020 Premier Training events is set at $995 for the package - PLUS a a $200 rebate from the MOA Foundation upon completion of the class. The net cost to the MOA member is $795. All Premier Training events are held at the BMW Performance Center in Greer, South Carolina; transportation costs are not included in the package.

Each registration includes a full day of instruction, motorcycle rental, and two nights at the Marriott Greenville (including breakfast). There will be a welcome dinner on the first night of the event at the Performance Center and a group dinner on the second night at a favorite Greenville restaurant. Transportation to the dinners and training events will be provided by the MOA and the hotel provides shuttle transportation to the Greenville airport (GSP), a new service offered this year.

Different this year is the Foundation funding. This year, the participant will receive a rebate check from the Foundation at the conclusion of the class. In previous years, the Foundation participation reduced the initial registration cost. Successful completion means registering, showing up to the event and participating in the training in some way - participants do not have to "pass" or receive a certificate to receive the Foundation rebate.

Dates are as follows:

  • 26-27 March 2020
  • Women ONLY! 7-8 May 2020
  • 28-29 May 2020
  • 4-5 September 2020
  • 22-23 October 2020

These classes always fill up fast, so be sure to register soon. We'll see you in Greer for your Premier Training event. Visit the REGISTRATION PAGE now!

What if you are local to Greer? Can you still participate at a reduced cost?

Andrew – the day is divided into 1/2 on-road and 1/2 off-road Jeff – thank you very much for the feedback. I will send that information up the chain.

Check on whether this is an on road or off road course (picture makes it look on road). We did the 2 day off road course in 2019 and in 2015, and the training was superb! Highly recommended. With the hotel, dinners, and transportation now included, and use of their motorcycle, this is a great deal! Go, MOA!

I have been fortunate to have attended this training and it was fantastic. Everything was over and above any expectations. It poured rain the entire time and we did all the same drills as if it was a perfectly sunny day. Aside from the weather it was fantastic experience. To be able to do what we did in the pouring rain was amazing. I would love to attend another session and my hope is that MOA and BMW will work on setting up a "Further" training session to continue on ones training path. Would love to do more at this incredible facility and its instructors. A few on my list would be higher speed corning, body position, for those mountain twisties. I have done the Lee Parks high performance training(excellent also) and I would like something similar to the California super bike track training for us older street touring riders. Cheers Jeff Edmonton Canada.
