If you are in the market for a new BMW motorcycle, your MOA membership is about to pay dividends. BMW MOA members are now included in the BMW Motorrad Appreciation Program for 2019, offering current MOA members up to $750 off the purchase of a new, untitled BMW motorcycle.

The new incentive offers active BMW MOA members, who have been a member for one year or longer, $250 off C-series and G-series motorcycles, $500 off F-series and R-series motorcycles and $750 off K-series and S-series motorcycles. And, the new Motorrad Appreciation Program discount can be combined with other seasonal incentives or sales offers.

Members are eligible for one purchase incentive during the 2019 calendar year for any new 2018, 2019 or 2020 qualifying model, which is defined as any new, previously unregistered BMW motorcycle. BMW auction units do not qualify.  The new incentive may be combined with other sales offers or incentives, except other BMW Motorrad Appreciation group discounts such as the Military Purchase Offer or Emergency Services Purchase Offer.

MOA members interested in purchasing a new BMW motorcycle with the discount applied should visit their local BMW retailer for details. Proof of membership, such as your BMW MOA membership card, showing a full year of membership will be required to secure the discount. Membership cards are available online in the member profile area or replacement cards can be ordered through the membership office.

Not a BMW MOA member? Now there are 750 more reasons to join. Get started today by joining online at bmwmoa.org or call (864) 438-0962. You could be on your way to $750 off your next BMW motorcycle purchase.

Not sure how to apply. My wife purchased a new 2019 F750GS... in April of this year... is she still eligible to get this money? She has been a member for greater than one year. Do I understand correctly you apply for the money through the BMW dealer she purchased the bike from?

Looking at purchasing a new GS and wondering about the year of membership requirement. I joined last year in October, with the 3 month free and then paid for membership in January of this year. Am I eligible?

Hey Ted I can't believe it but I'm going to trade in my 2018 k1600 gtl on a new 2020 GSA 1250. You know that I have tried to change the mind of most K bike riders and them not feeling limited to pavement only rides. I hope I have inspired several people to ride the road less traveled and learn there motorcycle can do more and go farther than they think. I now plan to ride even more off road areas and have learned there is a limit to the K bike. That's why I am going to get new GSA. From Indianapolis Indiana my thanks for all the support of people from all over to reach my limits on the K1600 gtl.

Fellow CANADIANS: I recently purchased a new 2019 BMW F850 GS and was advised this MOA Member discount offered by BMW DOES NOT APPLY TO CANADIANS because MOA is an American outfit not recognized by BMW MOTORAD-CANADA! Hrumph!

Purchased a new 2018 K1600 b last week, asked the dealer about the loyalty/appreciation program being a MOA member since 1982 figured no problem. The dealer informed me that BMW Motorrad of Canada does not recognize the MOA? Any help would be appreciated.

Used this discount last week on a model-year leftover 2018 R1200GS. It works! I had to show the dealer this article, they called BMW Financial Services (or whatever) and sure enough! Great benefit, thanks!

Arlie, there is a BMW bulletin to the dealers dated Jan 3, 2019. It is bulletin B08_19. We have asked for a website update from BMW. It does not list the MOA appreciation offer yet, but other customers/dealers have successfully used the discount.

Ironically when you click on yje BMW MOTORRAD APPRECIATION link, there is NO MOA incentive displayed. BMW Car Club is displayed but NOT one for MOA Members. I'm currently trying to get this incentive for a member who is purchasing a 2018 R1200 GSA. BMW Motorrad has not responded to my inquiry. If you look at the "exclusions" noted for combining "Special Appreciations"(military, msf, etc) it cannot be combined with "BMW MOA" incentives, implying there is one. As for those trying to get a 'retroactive' bonus or credit, BMW is very strict on "time of purchase" incentives. A BMW sales person is not REQUIRED to be a MOA, Car Club member etc and may not be familiar with those programs, especially since there isn't a BMW Motorrad bulletin I can CURRENTLY refer to for BMW MOA. As I said before, I'm waiting from guidance on BMW for that.

James Suttie, BMW Clubs Canada has a similar discount in place for Canada. If you are a member of one of the local chartered clubs in Canada, you would qualify. However, we are trying to secure the same for MOA members in Canada. More to come...

Bob Lilley and Charles Stewart, you will need to check with your purchasing dealer. According to the guidelines, they have 30 days to file a claim for reimbursement. There cold be some options for you to be included.

I notice the announcement is dated yesterday, Feb 14th, 2019. Is that the effective beginning date of the promotion? If someone bought a bike last week, are they excluded?
