This was how the Pony Express advertised for riders as they sought to build their ranks. That was more than 150 years ago. Today the MOA has a similar need- to grow and strengthen our organization.
We want to build a coordinated and dedicated group of volunteers with a regional knowledge of their areas, riders, area clubs, geography and the available opportunities that could bring them all together. And, we need dedicated volunteers to do it.
If you are interested in this exciting opportunity to have voice and shape the future of the BMW MOA, we need to hear from you. Please visitbmwmoa.org/volunteeror email volunteers@bmwmoa.organd make history by working to determine the future of the BMW MOA. Those selected will actively work with the Board’s Volunteers Committee as well as our Executive Director in establishing the operational structure of this group as well as its goals and activities. The pay isn'tt quite as good as the Pony Express, but the satisfaction is far greater!
Well, buggers - young, skinny, wiry and orphans. That sure lets me out. Good luck with the hunt.

Sorry, this is my 3rd attempt to respond. Stan Herman here. I am your BMW MOA Volunteer Committee Chair. As the March ON went to press sadly we missed an edit. Canada has always been included as a region. We initially divided the regions by MOA members, Chartered Clubs and BMW dealers. There has not been a map published as the Regional Coordinators will have the discretion to discuss and possibly redraw the boundaries. The Regional Coordinators will have very broad latitude in how to best serve each region for all segments mentioned and the unaffiliated BMW rider. Stay tuned, exciting things are coming.

Hmmm. As a regional coordinator of one of the "12 geographic regions of the United States" (see Owners News, Mar. 2015, pg. 26) one apparently will participate in a "national team" (see application form online). Which regional US area does Canada belong to? Would it then be a "national" or "international" team?
