The band exhibits both creative and spirited musicianship coming through in their fun and groovy guitar solos. The band’s drummer, Dirk Newton, has a lot of years under his belt and the showmanship to prove it. He’s the kind of drummer that puts a little heat into his beat.

Iron Horse
Formed in Muscle Shoals in 2000, Iron Horse is a four-member band creating much of their own music. They have four self-produced albums including “Ridin’ Out the Storm,” “New Tracks” and “Small Town Christmas.” Iron Horse was approached in January 2003 by Los Angeles-based CMH Records to record a tribute album to Metallica and followed that up with “Whole Lotta Bluegrass,” a tribute to Led Zeppelin released in February 2005.

Tommy Talton
Tommy Talton is a familiar name to many, especially fans of ’70s Southern rock. Talton figured heavily into that part of music history and co-founded the band Cowboy, which was discovered by Duane Allman, who recommended the band to Capricorn label owner Phil Walden. Cowboy was recently chosen as one of the Top 10 Country Rock Albums of all time by About.com. Tommy has played guitar with the likes of Gregg Allman, Bonnie Bramlett, Dickey Betts, Kitty Wells and Clarence Carter, and he’s still adding to the rich tapestry of Southern music and is at the top of his game.

The Nadas
Saturday opens with popular Iowa-based band The Nadas, who are sure to make you feel things through their music. Regardless of the emotion, you’ll want to listen and sometimes dance. The Nadas marked their 25th year in 2018 and will soon be releasing their 11th studio album, entitled “One Louder.” When most bands are resting on their laurels and letting others do the heavy lifting, The Nadas are out there swinging for the fences, driving the van and carrying their own instruments.

Lewis Brice
Saturday’s closing act will really push the rally into high gear with Lewis Brice’s high energy show, featuring songs with a distinctive groove, narrative lyrics and bluesy soulful singing. Lewis’ band, The Escorts, is made up of Johannes Greer on drums, Phil Lester on bass, and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Josh Waters. Together, they bring musical character and incredible skills to create an experience you won’t forget. Lewis’s debut self-titled EP was released via Pump House Music last year to glowing reviews with prominent digital and streaming placements worldwide and quickly returned to the Top 15 of the iTunes Country chart. Since then, Lewis has been named one of Rolling Stone Country’s “New Country Artists You Need to Know” and Billboard’s “Country Artists to Watch in 2018.”
