This is a brand-new event on the MOA Getaway schedule for 2025, and Rides4Fun is excited to join you at Unicoi State Resort Park in Helen, Georgia. As always, all brands and riders are welcome. No MOA membership is required, so bring your riding friends.
Come experience some of southern Appalachia’s legendary motorcycle riding on the best mountain roads in the region.
The October date, combined with the mountain location, should ensure some great fall weather and beautiful foliage colors. Unicoi State Resort Park is the perfect destination with its many amenities, legendary motorcycle roads and incredible routes for
both adventure and street riders to explore.
Unico State Resort Park is in the heart of the Southern Appalachian Mountain range. The park is ideally located within easy reach of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. You'll be able to check off your bucket-list rides during this
weekend!
Some of the area’s roads, like legendary road known as The Dragon, have a national following and others, like Wolf Pen Gap, Wayah Rd or US129 over Blood Mountain, are just as special and real local treasures.
The park’s location near Helen, Georgia, allows guests to have a Bavarian experience without crossing an ocean. For those that have never been to area, the entire town of Helen has a Bavarian theme - perfect for those of us choosing to ride BMWs!
The $149 event fee includes a Friday night welcome party and dinner with cash bar, Saturday night dinner and awards with cash bar, thousands of dollars worth of door prizes and a special MOA gift. The Getaway event fee does not include lodging. Please
call the venue directly (see LODGING), and visit the venue's website for reservations and cancellation policies.
Event fees are refundable if cancelled 30 days or more prior to the event. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event will receive a voucher for a future MOA event. Please visit bmwmoa.org/refunds for a list of covered events and circumstances that qualify for an event credit.
Unicoi State Resort Park will be the base of operations for the event. Lodging options are available on a first come, first served basis, and we've blocked out the entire venue our event. It will sell out fast, so make plans early. For reservations, guests must call the park directly at (800) 573-9659 and state you are with Rides4Fun attending the BMW MOA Getaway event. Online registration is available by using the event code #10560. If you do not use the event code, the property will show sold out, since we have everything blocked.

Supporters from the Back Roads of Appalachia will be on hand to offer guests a free smartphone app with turn-by-turn routes for thousands of miles of great motorcycle riding in the region, including both street and adventure rides.
