Save the dates! September 12-14, 2025
MOA Getaway at Pine Mountain, the birthplace of Rides4Fun. With the support and help of the non-profit organization Backroads of Appalachia, this was the first Rides4Fun event held. It is always great to work with Daryl Casey and the famous “Kentucky
Crew” Daryl and his crew keep this event alive and growing. All brands and riders are welcome, and no MOA membership is required. Bring your riding friends and experience some of the best motorcycle riding in the country.
Pine Mountain State Park is in the area where Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia come together in the heart of Cumberland Gap National Park. It's a natural motorcycle mecca nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. The early September date ensures
some great late summer weather, and the area offers an excellent selection of local roads for guests to enjoy incredible on- and off-road riding. Famous area roads within short distance of the park include the Dragon Slayer, but there are many more
area roads just as fun and enjoyable. Local natural landmarks like Cumberland Falls, Pinnacle Overlook and Chain Rock ensure guests plenty to explore off the bike. Historical points of interest include Cumberland Gap State Park, Harlan County’s rich
history - including the legendary feud between the Hatfield and McCoy clans - and Dr. Thomas Walker State Historical Site.
The $149 event fee includes a Friday night welcome party and dinner with cash bar, Saturday night dinner and awards with cash bar, thousands of dollars worth of door prizes and a special MOA gift. The Getaway event fee does not include lodging. Please
call the venue directly (see LODGING), and visit the venue's website for reservations and cancellation policies.
Event fees are refundable if cancelled 30 days or more prior to the event. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event will receive a voucher for a future MOA event. Please visit bmwmoa.org/refunds for a list of covered events and circumstances that qualify for an event credit.
The park’s lodging offerings for event guests include everything from traditional lodge rooms, historic cabins, modern cottages and primitive tent camping. There are also commercial hotels nearby in Middlesboro. The park's lodging is completely blocked
out for our event, so for lodging reservations all guests have to call the park at (606) 337-3066 and tell them you are with the BMW MOA Event and provide the event code #3128. If you visit the website, the property will show sold out for the
weekend, so please remember YOU MUST CALL the number provided. The same is true for the primitive tent camping spots.
