The record of BMW Motorcycle Owners of America’s High Mileage Honor Roll is kept by volunteer staff person Tony Black , and is the continuation of a program begun by Chip Goleman. Tony took over the job from Lyle Grimes in July of 2005. Much thanks goes to Lyle for his years of hard work.

Upon acceptance of your documented application to Tony, you will receive a pin and patch acknowledging your achievement. The mileage awards program recognizes miles ridden in 100,000-mile increments up to 900,000 miles (several distinguished members have already surpassed this mark). After one million miles, pins and patches will be awarded in 250,000-mile increments and a plaque will be awarded in 100,000-mile increments.

In addition to these awards, your name and mileage achieved will be recognized in Tony’s BMW Owners News column and listed here on the BMW MOA website. Tony’s contact information can be found in the masthead of the BMW Owners News.

BMW of North America, the originator of the mileage award program, maintains a separate program. The BMW NA program provides cloisonné medallions acknowledging the achievements of 100,000 through 900,000 lifetime miles, in 100,000-mile increments. Access to this awards program begins with your local dealer.
