Global Touring' tries to cover all the ways BMW riders can tour around the world. Each month or so, BMW OWNERS NEWS offers articles about programs and resources to help you ride in Europe and elsewhere globally, including group tours, BMW rentals, airfreight programs, bike trading, insurance services, and related information. Because each BMW ON tends to describe only one or two services in depth, it's easy to miss the bigger picture.
This Euro touring 'rolodex' complements BMW Owners News by listing in one location most European resources described in the more detailed articles; and the website is continuously updated to assist your tour planning. These service listings are primarily, but not exclusively, for the 'most of us' with relatively short-term, 2-4 week, riding vacations.
NoAmer tel/fax, email '@' address, 'www' website, if available, are listed first, followed by overseas offices; country dialing codes are shown by a "+" just before the number (e.g. +44/), to show that you must first dial an international access code. From NoAmerica, the direct dial access code is 011; that code varies when dialing from other countries. Most overseas websites have English language pages; almost all overseas websites without English pages can be translated using Google online http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en, or a similar Internet translator service. It is highly recommended that you phone or email to confirm current website information or reservations.
