John Kelly writes: "If you are traveling through S.W. Ohio, be sure to spend the night at John Bryan State Park near Yellow Springs Ohio. If you love natural wonders and small hip college towns this is the place to be. The town is a pleasant two mile ride from the campground. The main drag is Xenia Ave. and it holds a variety of resturants, bookstores, clothing shops and a tiny theater. A fantastic little artist town. Be sure to check out The Ole Tavern at the heart of Xenia Ave. Up the road is a small village called Clifton. This town is home of the beautiful Clifton Gorge, a water carved work of natural beauty. You can hike from the campground up to the gorge and have lunch on the trail or at the Clifton Mill. The trail is delightful, but dangerous in places. They call it a GORGE for a reason.
