RPU has much to offer at the 2011 MOA Rally in Bloomsburg, PA
****
Rider Performance University RiderCourse Schedule Changes
Due to a conflict with another event, we have changed the RiderCourse schedule for the BRC-2 (formerly the ERC). There will now be ONE morning BRC-2 (7a-noon) and we have added an evening BRC-2 (4p-9p). The office has rescheduled several students. The BRC-2 and ARC will be conducted at the Columbia Mall. The GOOD NEWS is that the evening class promises to be much cooler! Contact BMW MOA headquarters to schedule your spot in either the BRC-2 or Advanced RiderCourse. Call 636-394-7277.

First let's look at courses/workshops offered by commercial training firms:
1. Rider Performance University Announces Addition of Keith Codes California Superbike School Training in Bloomsburg
Keith Code, author and operator of California Superbike School, will offer rider education and training courses at the 39th BMW MOA International Rally in Bloomsburg PA. Courses will be offered on Friday and Saturday, July 23-24. For a description of the courses, scheduling information and registration, contact: (323) 224-2734 www.superbikeschool.com
2. Stayin' Safe LLC Mini Sessions
Stayin' Safe, recognized as the country's premier on-street advanced motorcycle training program, will be conducting a limited number of 4-hour Stayin' Safe Mini Sessions on during the 39th BMW MOA International Rally, July 20-24. Using the tremendous motorcycling roads surrounding the event area as a classroom, Stayin' Safe senior instructors will introduce key Stayin' Safe principles in real-time via in-helmet radio communication. It's a great way to prepare for a week - and a lifetime - of outstanding riding. A condensed version of the traditional two and three day Stayin' Safe training tours, these sessions will introduce participants to key strategic riding techniques that will improve their ability to read the road, select optimum speed and lane position for any given situation, and increase safety margins, all while enhancing the enjoyment of cornering. It's an effective and fun way to take riding to a higher level and a terrific introduction to the Stayin' Safe method of advanced motorcycle training. A limited number of slots are available at $225 per motorcycle. Mini sessions fill quickly, so reserve your spot early at www.stayinsafe.com or call Stayin' Safe at 24-771-2269. We look forward to riding with you in Bloomsburg!
3.Rider Performance University - Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic
The Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic will be taught by Tracy Martin, author, motojournalist and VP of Total Control Training. The class is based on Lee Park's best selling riding skills book "Total Control." The Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic offers motorcyclists the opportunity to take their riding skills to the next level. Cornering technique is the primary focus of the clinic and the individual skills taught include; throttle control, throttle/brake transitions, corner entry, line selection, vision and body position. In addition, there is a classroom session on motorcycle suspension setup. This is NOT a racing class, but uses a combination of race track technology and martial arts training to focus learning on improving street riding skills. The class accommodates all types of riders and styles of motorcycles. The riding exercises are individually explained, demonstrated by an instructor, and practiced by each student. Working on one skill at a time with constant instructor feedback creates the building blocks for consistent riding improvements. This learning technique allows for high rider confidence. By the end of the day, Total Control will get you to stop fighting your bike in turns, and increase your lean angle with comfort can confidence. All students must provide their own bikes, and have at least one year of riding experience. For detailed information check out the Total Control Website at: www.totalcontroltraining.net or contact Tracy Martin, 410-905-1918 or Scott Keimig at 301-371-6449 .
