Wednesday

Our Wednesday opening night begins with Lindy Gravelle. Lindy performs throughout the Northwest, and has performed on several occasions for BMW clubs, entertaining her loyal fan base and newcomers alike. Lindy will play both original songs and standards. Additional details about Lindy and her music can be found at http://www.lindygravelle.com.

Wednesday night then continues with Dan Shanahan. Dan hit the music scene with both feet running. Whether playing with his band or performing solo, Dan's soulful voice carries us through a familiar yet edgy mix of acoustic based tunes. His debut CD, "Waiting on my Train," captures his unique musical textures and melodies, defining his style as a modern day troubadour. He sings a vivid story of love and personal identity, but also addresses big picture issues such as drug addiction and political oppression. On the heels of his CD release, Dan took his music to the road, playing everywhere from coffee shops to festivals to concert theatres, gaining new fans along the way. Dan's songs have caught the attention and have earned top awards by songwriting associations, notably New Day, Tonight, Ludus and the title track Waiting on my Train. Find out more info and listen to Dan's music at http://www.danshanahan.com.

Thursday

Thursday starts off with The Moon Mountain Ramblers. The Moon Mountain Ramblers (Acoustic Americana Slamgrass) from Bend, Oregon have been taking the high desert by storm. Ramblin' in from all parts of the territory, the Moon Mountain Ramblers have drawn five musicians together to create an original high desert sound and a soulful interpretation of traditional bluegrass, jazz/swing and country tunes. With two albums already under their belts the Ramblers have started touring outside of central Oregon to help promote their newest effort "Let It All Be Good" which debuted to a sold-out house at Bend's Tower Theatre in January 2009. The Ramblers consist of Dan McClung slappin' the upright bass and blowin' the harmonica, Jenny Harada playing the fiddle, Joe Schulte choppin' the mandolin and singing along with Matt Hyman pickin' the guitar and singing with Dale Largent holding it down on percussion.

The rest of Thursday night belongs to The Substitutes. The Substitutes invite you to experience Classic Rock at it's finest! Often called the "hardest working band in Central Oregon," The Substitutes, Don Hoxie, Dean Prescott and Maynard Hull, have been a rock solid institution for 12 years and counting. Beloved not just for all the great classic rock songs they perform, but because each and every night they put on the kind of show people remember and want to see again and again. From Chuck Berry to Tom Petty, from The Beatles to Cheap Trick, from CCR to ZZ Top, The Substitutes span over five decades of great, fun rock and roll in glorious three-part harmony, enticing crowds of all ages to get up and boogie! A professional, road-ready outfit with full P.A. and lights, this group of talented musicians are tough to beat on any level. Available for weekend club work, company parties, wedding receptions, and just about any other function you can think of, The Substitutes deliver the very best in musical entertainment with dependable professionalism from the first note to the last. Truly, when it comes to The Substitutes, there is no substitute. Be prepared to rock!

Friday

Friday Night starts out with Arizona native and Central Oregon resident, singer/songwriter Bo Reynolds.

Friday Night continues with Paul Thorn. Paul was such a hit at last year's Rally in Johnson City and requested by so many club members that he and his band are the ONLY repeat performers at this year's Rally!

Friday's headliner is Jimmy Hall. Jimmy Hall was born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in Mobile by a musical family steeped in gospel tradition.

Saturday

Immediately after the "official" BMW MOA Closing Ceremonies Saturday evening get outside and get ready to celebrate this year's 4R Rally!

Starting off is a return act. A band that enjoyed themselves so much in Gillette they penned a song just for us. No Kidding! Stagecoach West. This band came highly recommended by several members and when I contacted them they were very interested in playing and said again and again how much they enjoyed our hospitality and friendship from our Rally. Stagecoach West is the best all around variety band in the Spokane area. With hundreds of songs in their repertoire including classic rock, golden oldies, classic country, country pop, disco, jazzy standards, and all types of ballroom dances, they love requests.

Taking us to the end Saturday will be Chuck Alvarez. A friend of this year's Entertainment Co-Chair Bill White, Chuck has a great reputation as a guitarist and his band is tight from working the Southern California clubs and festivals. He brings his band north to play our rally and work his way back south so if you like them and are heading south after the Rally check their schedule and catch them again on your way home
