2007 BMW MOA
International Rally
West Bend, Wisconsin,
July 12 - 15, 2007
Plans are already underway for the 35th
Anniversary Rally, slated for West Bend,
Wisconsin next summer. Building on our
experiences as rally chairmen in Midland,
Michigan in 2000, and Lima, Ohio in 2005,
Brian and I are very excited to put together
some great new ideas for 2007. We promise you yet another AWESOME rally filled
with fellowship, good times, and a few surprises too. Drawing on the strong German
heritage of the area, this is going to be “as close to Germany as you can get – without
a passport.” Imagine the Bier Garten, filled with your friends and laughter, telling lies
and kicking tires as you take in the ambiance of the Bavarian-themed atmosphere.
West Bend, located just 20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee, is a short ride to
local entertainment, major-league baseball, and the glistening white Santiago Calatrava
Museum, not to mention the Harley-Davidson plant & brewery tours. There is plenty
to see and do in Milwaukee.
The rally site itself is nestled in the hills of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine State Forest area. Washington
County Fair Park offers everything from lots of flat
tent-camping areas to a new air conditioned pavilion
for our seminars and vendors. In addition, you will
find great riding in this rural, wooded part of Wisconsin. From the rustic roads surrounding Holy Hill to
the snaky curves near Elkhart Lake and glistening blue
waters of Lake Michigan, you will quickly understand
why the riders of Wisconsin have such passion for putting on miles year after year.
Take note that the dates – July 12 to 15 - are a little earlier than in the recent past.
There will be something for everyone at the 2007 International Rally!
See you in Wisconsin in ’07!
Until then,
auf wiedersehen.
