Here's what you get when you go to the Rally
First time at a national rally, or a seasoned
rally rat? Either way, you surely would like to know "What does my registration
include?" Here is a partial list.
Your registration fee includes at no additional
cost:
- Camping
on nice soft grass, with your choice of quiet, traditional and "roughing
it" locations.
- Hot and cold running water
in wash rooms and lavatories available for all campers.
- Port o' potties
for those who prefer same.
- Hot (& cold) showers on site.
- Many Door prizes: Grand prizes include
at least two BMW motorcycles.
- Tours:
There will be ride sheets and many tours available. The Hospitality group
is drawing up day ride sheets for riders that attend the rally. Check
at the Hospitality tent for more information.
- Vendors: We expect a good variety of
vendors on site with products that motorcyclists will find worthy.
- Pin & Patch:
You get an official rally pin and patch.
- Technical Sessions & Seminars: Watch
this web site and the Owners News and for details. Sessions start
Thursday morning and run until Saturday afternoon. Some are repeated. At
this year's rally there will be some unique
presentations never before shown at an International gathering. Watch
here and in the Rally Program for notices.
- Demo Rides:
We HOPE that BMW Motorrad returns to the BMW MOA International Rally in
2005 with their demo fleet. Negotiations are ongoing at this time.
- Beer Garden: cold beer and hot music.
- Cyber Cafe:
Need email? Available on site.
- County Store:
Avoid shipping costs. The BMW MOA Country Store will be open for business.
- Shipping:
A packaging/shipping firm will have a booth to help you avoid hauling more
acquisitions home than your motorcycle can carry safely.
- Entertainment: Live music throughout
the rally.
- Oil Change:
Facilities available (do it yourself)
- Bike Wash:
Do it yourself. Plenty of water available.
- Awards:
For the longest riders, high mileage bikes, best looking bikes, etc. Be
sure to enter at the Rally Registration area.
- Flea Market: For
your selling and buying pleasure.
- Foot Race:
8k foot race will be held.
- GS Tours: TBA
- BMW MOA Membership Office: Will be open on site.
- Rally Program:
With pictures.
- Bike Rescue:
For those who have mechanical problems within an hour of the rally site.
- Nondenominational Worship:
Sunday morning, there may also be services throughout the rally. Watch for
notices in the Rally program
- Town Meeting of the MOA Board of Directors:
Open to all members, held on Thursday.
- Meeting:
Chartered Club Presidents.
- Meeting: Friends

- Security:
24 hours daily by volunteers.
- EMS:
1st Aid team on site.
- Youth Events: A
place for teens to hang out with each other.
- Children's Events: Variety
of activities for those 5-12 years of age while their parent(s) attend tech
sessions and seminars.
- Opportunities:
To meet riders with similar interests from all over North America and several
foreign nations.
- Opportunities: To
take a walking tour around the site to view 4,000+ BMW motorcycles (no two
alike).
- Opportunities:
To make new friends and meet old friends.
