Copyright Infringement
Contributors frequently share messages and articles that they have electronically copied from other sources. There are many messages posted in our forum and sent via email through our systems, and there are millions of possible sources spread out across the Internet and offline world. Online Forum Extras
When a message is posted to the BMWMOA.org Online Forum, our servers capture the originating Internet Protocol (IP) Address. This information allows us to identify the origin of posted messages. By having this information, we can track malicious posters and contact their Internet Provider if their posted messages continue to violate our guidelines. However, this IP address information is never released to the public, except in legal matters.
