What are the prizes this year?

The prize pool for the Superstakes II is as follows

                Grand Prize - Loaded 2010 BMWR1200GS Adventure

First Place - one of three guided motorcycle trips

1.       BMW MOA European Rally Tour presented by Edelweiss

2.       BMW MOA Andalucia Tour presented by IMTBike

3.       BMW MOA Norwegian Midnight Sun Tour presented by Ayers Adventures

Winners have choice of one of the three trips.  Order of draw determines order of choice.  i.e. the first name drawn chooses between three trips, second name drawn chooses between two remaining trips, etc.)

Second Place (10 prizes) - $1,000 Bike Bandit Gift Card

How many prizes are available?

Each ticket is guaranteed a chance at one grand prize, three first place prizes and ten second place prizes.  However, the prize pool will increase with the number of tickets sold.  For every 1,000 tickets sold above 10,000, another $1,000 Bike Bandit Gift Card will be included in the prize pool.  And, for every 10,000 tickets sold, another grand prize will be added to the prize pool.

As an example, if 12,500 tickets are sold, the prize pool will be two grand prize R1200GS's, six guided motorcycle trips and 12 $1,000 Bike Bandit gift cards.

Is there a limit to how many prizes will be included in the prize pool?

No.  Every ticket sold means more prizes.  If 30,000 tickets are sold, three grand prizes will be given away, nine guided motorcycle tours and 30 Bike Bandit gift cards.

Can I win more than one prize?

No.  Once you are declared a winner, any future draws will exclude your ticket numbers.  Prizes will be drawn in order of valuable from highest to lowest so that your best opportunity to win will be for the most valuable prize.   You can also purchase multiple tickets for better odds of winning.

What are the odds for winning?

Actual odds depend on the number of tickets purchased and the number of individuals, but minimum odds of winning a prize are 1 in 10,000.   The more tickets you purchase, the better your odds of winning.

When is the drawing?

The drawing for prizes will be April 6th, 2011 at the BMW MOA office in Ellisville, MO.

Do I have to be present to win?

No, the winner will be contacted by phone, email or registered mail within 14 days of the drawing.

If I win the motorcycle, are you going to ship it to me?

No, the winner is responsible for all delivery costs and arrangements.

Is the first service (or any service) included as part of the prize for the motorcycle?

No.  Maintenance costs will be the responsibility of the winner.

I don't live in the United States.  Will the winning motorcycle be legal in my country?

The 2010 R1200GS will be a US specification bike.  You should check with your local governing body to determine if that model can be imported into your country.

I can't import a US Specification motorcycle into my country.  Are you going to buy me a motorcycle that meets my country requirements?

No.  The grand prize R1200GS is a US specification motorcycle.

I don't want the motorcycle or any of the other prizes.  Is there a cash option?

No, but it would be nice if you donated your prize to a worthy charity such as the BMW MOA Foundation.

I won the trip to Europe but I don't want to go.  Can I have something else?

No, the prize you won is yours to keep.  If you would like to give that to someone else, that is your right.

I don't like the paint scheme on the bike.  I want it in some other color.

Unfortunately, the prize package is a specific motorcycle and the color cannot be changed.

How many prizes will there be?

Every entry is guaranteed a chance at one 2010 R1200GS, one of three guided motorcycle tours and one of ten $1,000 Bike Bandit gift cards.  A total of 14 prizes at a minimum.  If tickets sales increase above 10,000 tickets the number of prizes will increase.
