Edgar Heinrich will be taking over the BMW Group's BMW Motorrad Design Studio as of July 1st. He succeeds David Robb.  Within the BMW Group's BMW Motorrad Design Studio he was Head of Vehicle Design Motorcycles under the overall direction of David Robb from 2007 to 2009.

With 2011 almost over, thoughts are turning to what 2012 has in store - and for BMW Motorrad riders and fans it promises to be an awesome 12 months. The brand will be attending some of the biggest motorcycle shows of the year. 

The other day I received an e-mail from a member who asked me, "Why don't we have a digital edition of the BMW Owners News?"   My response was simple:  "We do! We launched it in 2009... "

When I purchased my 1972 R75/5 from my buddy and co-worker, Cyrus, in 1989, I could never have imagined the journey that the bike and I would take together and how significantly it would change my life.

The idea was presented to the President of the Foundation, Don Braasch, who agreed to the idea with welcoming enthusiasm. And this is how on the 6^th of November in Oklahoma City, the BMW MOA Foundation Fundraiser event of the Two Wheel Flight Lite came to be.

Meet Bruce McKelvy, of Lansdale, PA. He's on a mission. The Compassion Corner 48 or (CC48) is a motorcycle mission trip Bruce conceived of, to each of the lower 48 states in a 23 day period beginning September 6. The purpose of the trip is to raise money to support the BranchCreek Community Church Compassion Corner which is a food pantry that serves families in need.
