Dianese names Cristiano Silei new CEO

Cristiano Silei is the newest member of the Board of Directors for Dianese, and the company's newest CEO - effective immediately - as well.
Silei formerly served as Ducati's Director of Corporate Strategy and Product Development, CEO of Ducati North America and Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Federico Minoli, who served as Dianese's CEO from 2012 until now, introduced Silei to the company, will become the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He said, "Cristiano is the perfect person to lead Dianese, and will contribute his unique experience and skills to accelerate its international expansion and product innovation.
Silei said, "Dainese is one of those rare companies to have truly created a new market through technology and innovation, and I am honored to have been chosen to lead the company,” Silei said. “The
opportunity ahead for Dainese to further capitalize on its global brand and superior product offering is vast."
Dianese board member and partner on Investcorp's European corporate investment team Gilbert Kamieniecky said, “We are at the start of an exciting new phase for Dainese, and we look forward to working with Cristiano as he leads the company to its next stage of growth while maintaining the mission of Dainese to save people’s lives. We would also like take the opportunity to thank Federico for his leadership and contribution in driving Dainese’s growth over the course of his tenure. Dianese has been making safety gear for motorcycling, mountain biking, equestrian sports and winter sports since its founding in 1972 by Lino Dianese. The company acquired helmet maker AGV in 2007 and is headquartered in Vicenza, Italy. Dianese USA is Dianese's exclusive distributor in the North America, and shares NA distribution of AGV helmets with Parts Unlimited.
