-         Tomah, Wisconsin  October 5 - 7

The Wisconsin Autumn Weekend Getaway will be a few miles up the road from Tomah this year, in Warrens, Wisconsin.  Our home base will be the Three Bears Lodge, with discounted rates for our attendees.  The dates for this event are Friday, October 5 thru Sunday morning, October 7th.   Your hosts this year will include representatives from the Board of Directors Sue Rihn & Tom Buttars,  "Adventure" ride captains Jim Klas & Chad Berger, along with some other familiar faces as well.

With 4 organized rides to choose from, you are guaranteed the kind of riding you enjoy.  From the rock & roll twisties of the Mindoro Cut and the switchbacks of Wildcat Mountain, to the off-road adventure trails, to the rolling hills and valleys of Amish country, we know your riding experience will be something you'll remember and enjoy.  The trees should be just beginning to burst into color, with shocking bright red maple trees mixing among the yellow-leaves of the birch trees, the dark green evergreens, and the burnt-oranges of the oaks.  It looks like a bowl of Trix on steroids.

In addition, the cranberry bogs will be starting their harvest season so regardless of your route, you will be sure to wind past some of the flooded marshes with the bright red berries floating to the top of the water.  The crisp autumn air adds to the promise of the best riding time of the year:  the tourists with their RVs have gone home, the air is so clear that your eyes will hurt from the sensory-overload of colors, and by the end of the day you'll celebrate another day of "just being alive."

Come and enjoy some of the upper Midwest's best riding roads in Wisconsin's "driftless" area, and enjoy the camaraderie of your riding peers.  All attendees will receive an event t-shirt, a goodie-bag, and an opportunity to win fabulous door prizes.

Registration is limited to 110.  Please register for the event at bmwmoa.org.  $79.95/person
