BMW MOA and Edelweiss Bike Travel Partner to Deliver Exclusive BMW MOA European Rally Tour

The BMW Motorcycle Owners of America is pleased to announce a new motorcycle tour of Europe created exclusively for BMW MOA members by Edelweiss Bike Travel. The BMW MOA European Rally Tour presented by Edelweiss is a 9 day vacation that will take place from June 25th to July 5th, 2010 with 7 motorcycle riding days in southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy. The tour is open to all BMW MOA members and will feature two special stops at the BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the BMW museum in Munich.

The trip will cover approximately 1,000 miles with typical riding days of 150 miles. Guests will be treated to some of the greatest motorcycle roads in the world, such as Passo di Stelvio in northern Italy, as well as great European landmarks such as King Ludwig's castle and the Dolomites.

The tour begins in Erding, Germany with the first stop in Warth, Austria.  From Warth, the trip heads to Pontresina, Switzerland, through Passo di Stelvio and on to Bolzano, Italy with an extra day in Bolzano to rest and take in the European flavor. Leaving Bolzano, the tour will ride to Seefeld, Austria with an extra riding day to the BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch. From Seefeld, the trip will return to Erding where guests will depart for Munich and home.

The tour package will include motorcycle rental, tour guides and support van, middle-class hotel accommodations with an alpine flavor, daily breakfast and dinner and two special picnic lunches along the route. Cost for this unique event starts at only $3,380 and a wide range of new BMW motorcycles are available for the tour.
