![]() Given the "no longer made" aspect of the Airheads the market value is not really bound by "the book." It is dictated more by the condition of the bike and the desire of the buyer to own one. So for all of them, and in particular a 1995 (last of the breed) in good condition, the bike is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Now, with all that said and for what it's worth in terms of information, Kelly Blue Book puts the trade-in for that bike at $3,770, and the retail at $4,725. NADA on the other hand, only goes back to 1995 on that model (R100RT) and they put the low price at $1,525 and the high price at $1,940. A seller and/or buyer has to decide for him or her self whether the books represent useful information. Personally, I think the asking price is within reason.

NADA price
What is a AirHead worth, surely not the NADA price: unless is in pieces.
Local dealer has an 95 with low miles, $4800 if I remember this year, listed for a few months. I purchased 2 84 in the last year, both about $2200, one with 35000, one with 25000. I got the second one because I was going to added the parts that were already on, (heated grips, etc) I did add Enduralast to it because I plan on using it to pull a kwikkamp. They ran well, needed little attention except tires (replaced right away). Carbs needed rebuild, but man what a great rides. I expect to get what I paid for one when I sell, minus some extras I added
