LED Bar-end Indicators
Hey all-
Does anyone have experience with Oberon's led bar-end indicators. They look like they would give my bike ('85 R80 mono) a clean look. Aerostich is selling them and that is one thing in their favor but I would like to hear from someone that has firsthand experience with them. Any info would be appreciated. TIA. DW............ |

I just took a look at them, they look nice.... One thing to be aware of: LED's use substantially less current, and a traditional, old-fashioned signal relay will not work (they depend on a current draw to "trip" the switch), so you would have to find and install an LED-friendly turn signal relay. They are readily available, no biggie, just something to be aware of.....

Wasn't there a recent discussion (within the last 6 months) about LEDs used in indicators and their directionality? Seems like this would be somewhat of a concern in the type of LED and what function you need from it.
