1150gs rid

I test rode a 2001 R1150 GS and the RID showed “E” when in 6th gear. The current owner said it has always been that way. Is this normal for a 2001 GS?

Yes, E is the 6th gear indication.

Thanks for your rely. “E” must be for Economy.

As 6th gear is overdrive.
