hose coming from black canister

I changed the rear shock on my 2002 r1150rt and pulled a hose from... somewhere? it starts at the black canister on the right side by the right bag. There are 3 hoses coming from the canister. The hose in question is the "bottom" one of the 3. I'm thinking it is an exhuast hose, but not sure. There seems to be vacum to it. Any ideas?

One goes forward on the right side to the fuel tank, one crosses over to the left side just behind the fuse/relay box and connects to the emissions valve and the third (probably the one you are dealing with) is simply a vent that goes down behind the brake pedal along side two (or three if you have a vented battery) others. Since that end of the vent line is not really connected to anything, it is ease to displace.
