Question R1200ST new brake line, what to bleed on ABS

I just installed a longer brake line from the Front Brake resevoir to the fitting located at the frame neck. Looking at the ABS unit from the top, I see what appears to be 6 bleeder nipples. 3 seem to be for the front half of the unit, possibly the front circuit?
1 of them is located off of the electric motor, one is taller and one is shorter. That makes up the front circuit, my quess. The same configuration is on the back half.

The question:
"Since I replace the brake line from the front brake lever/resevoir, what nipples have to be bleed? I appreciate you help in advance, newbbie to BMW motorcycles and have not gotten Service manual yet.

You'll have to bleed/flush the front control circuit. This is a case where Jim VonBaden's DVD might come in very handy.. or look at Dana Hagar's excellent articles on servicing EVO brake systems:

Unfotunately - we don't have a DIY for the EVO system yet - but the R1150 system and the R1200 systems are virtually identical.

Unless you are bleeding the whole system, bleeding at just one bleeder will probably do the trick. You may not even have to crack a bleeder; just connect the hose and work the lever, watching for bubles rising from the master cylinders vent port. When bubbles stop appearing, you're done.

Counting from the front of the bike toward the back of the bike, the six bleed points are:
  • front metering circuit
  • front control circuit
  • rear integral circuit
  • front integral circuit
  • rear control circuit
  • rear metering circuit

The only one you likely need to touch is the front control circuit bleed point, second back from the front of the bike.

The one marked "Front Control Bleed Point" is the one you need to bleed. Essentially it is like any manual bleed process.
