    GPS 2610 Mount for R1200RT?

Anyone have any experience with or suggustions for a 2610 mount for the 12RT. I had a lead on a supplier from the UK but it seems to be a dead end. I would prefer a "center" rather than a handle bar mount. Any suggustions would be appreciated.

I have the Motorrad from Scotland. Looks like it belongs on the bike and sits the GPS right under the windscreen.

Has anyone tried the Garmin motorcycle mount on an RCU shelf?

i did brad, the only issue is the gps slides down from vibrations and you have to flip it back to view the screen. it's a minor annoyance that one day i will try and solve. i also have my escort radar detector with the waterproof holder from cyclegadgets on the rcu shelf. it looks good and was a very cost effective way to mount the two items.

I've had good luck with Saeng/TA hardware, many options for creative mounting... see photo.

I rigged up a mount shelf for my R12RT. Came out OK, I think. I also installed an accessory plug that is tapped directly to the battery, so the GPS can be left on when I shut the bike off. (Also gives me a plug for battery charging.)

That is the same set up I used on my RT and LT.
I added a stainless steel 12 cigarette plug from West Marine on the dash of both bikes, that way it is possible to use other plugs than just the BMW ones.

Second that on the BMR shelf system. Good people to deal with as well.
