Is there a rivalry I'm unaware of with K bikes?

Sibling rivalry is probably the best way to put it, and I know I take part in it. The Oilheads and Airheads are opposed flat two cylinder engines, which is the way BMW's have been from pretty much the beginning... The K engines are inline engines, which is a break from tradition.

I see you're in Italy, so you get to ride all those cool passes. You're a lucky guy!

Yeah, you wouldn't believe how lucky
I've been here for 4 years (had my RT for 2), and will be here for 3 more. I don't know if I'll be happy with riding in the US ever again.....

    Italy

    Erik:

You'll have lots of time to bag all the passes before your return. You could just leave your bike there when you go back, and ride it whenever you return. Darryl Ri keeps an RS in Europe. Have fun.
