I've waited nearly 6 years for my C, and am still on my honeymoon! Here's a pic of me and my new love. (Note: My trusty 1984 R65, "Britta", is understandably PO'd at me!)

I finally finished the rebuild on my 2003 R1150RS...Blue before...Gold after....had to gussey it up with a splash of purple metalic In my search for parts (thank you BMWMOA, beemer boneyard, and Ebay) I couldn't stop......ended up with a complete 'nother body. I plan on painting that set gloss black to go with the LAUD RED tank I got and accent the "nostrils" with the same red.

Now if I only didn't have to get a foot peg lowering kit and a higher seat I would be a happy camper. I guess the aftermarket shocks were shorter than stock. I'm 6'2" and you can see how easily I can flat foot the bike. And the center stand is really too long as well since the bike sits lower.

It really is set up for someone about 5'8" or there abouts.

you'll do better to get longer shocks, or have your current ones reconfigured. unless you plan absolutely NO off-road at all, as you don't have squat for ground clearance there (so to speak).
