You've got a beautiful bike there - I really like what you've done to it. I've been thinking of getting a Corbin. How is it comfortwise?
Until yesterday, I'd never spent much longer than an hour in the saddle. Yesterday I got to take her out for our first joy-ride together. I was out for 2 1/2 hours and I was perfectly comfortable the whole time. I suppose it isn't a great seat if you carry passengers, but no one in my house wants to go ride with me so it's no big deal. I think driver comfort every time is more important than passenger comfort once every 5000 trips, so if I should ever ride two up, they'll just have to deal

    Here's a close-up of the seat...

That's a beautiful fairing - almost looks like a mini GT. Anyone know where I could get one? I web search of "pichler fairing" doesn't reveal much...

A sweet ride I just purchased.
Flew from Toronto to Los Angeles and did the tourist thang fer two days around La and Hollywood, then packed up my back pack and headed home to the tune of 9 days and 3378 miles (5405 kms) giddyup
The pic was taken about 6 miles East of El Paso (72 degrees) on I-10 I had just backtracked 300 miles from Albuquerque; a day later the freezing rain and snow showed up between Flagstaff and Amaraillo! Trip was from Dec 15, 2006 to Dec 24, 2006
Health and safe riding to all. The way is the goal.

Wow, that's beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen one in yellow - just blue, black and red.

    Latest acquisition

Just hit the jackpot - found on IBMWR list. 1988 K100RS SE ABS - 13,900 miles in darn near perfect condition. Everything you could do to this bike has been done. Head ported and polished, Staintune exhaust, Kosman widened rim (now wears a 160/60/ZR18), upgraded rotors with caliper mounting brackets, hard-wired radar detector, the list goes on. This is definitely one to keep!

Wow- that is nice. It's always a lot of fun to discover these little gems out there still. Is that the original paint scheme?

    Thumbs up Fantastic find: K100RS

That is one stunning bike!! I've always had an appreciation for the blue/white pant scheme like that and the lines of a K100RS are classic IMHO. To find such a clean bike with so many good things done to it was a true stroke of luck! Congratulations!

Got to love the "long legs" of the K1200RS. 890 miles in one day! Had I known about the Iron Butt 1K, I could have easily done the difference ....

You can still do it. I did a SaddleSore 1000 on my K12000RS and had a blast. However, it's a black one and those are the fastest.

VERY nice! I have a black '03. The blue paint and white wheels are sweet.
