    Accessing private message receipts/confirmations

I see a hot-linked statement on my private messages page regarding receipt/confirmation, but when I click on it, I get...

    vBulletin Message

Montana, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Is this where I should be able to access receipt/confirmation?

Have you tried going to the userCP and going to your messages there? normally mine will show up as I browse the forum, or when I return. Sometimes they dont and I found it easier to go through the userCP route than the hot button. HTH

I've always gotten the same message. It seems I can read and delete messages but I can't access the receipts.

I don't know how to paste the image of that screen for reference. It is the CP, Private Messages in Folder: Inbox, Folder Controls (center of the page display); underneath the drop down box "Jump to Folder: and the GO button, is displayed:

You have 1 confirmed and 0 unconfirmed private message receipts.

And that sentence is a link. One that I'm not allowed to access, apparently.

I'll poke around in the control panel and see what gives.
