    BMW Paint Stick Source???

    Greetings...

Just found out from my dealer that BMW no longer offers Touch Up paint sticks. Anyone have a good source for these? I did try search terms here and came up empty. The specific color - for my 1978 R80/7 - is Metallic Black (beautiful dark brown, of course).

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I've had good luck going to a Car-Co, bringing in a part I want color matched and having them mix a small quantity.

Went through a similar situation trying to match a metallic brown on my R60/5 - this guy happens to be very good and matched it spot on - they have a machine, similar what Home Depot uses to analyze the sample & come up with a good match.

    Good Luck!

Thanks Ken. Will look for a CarCo outlet, but do not think they are here waaay out west. I could jump in the Pacific about 90 minutes west of here.

It does indicate that I may have to go that route with another company.

    Cheers, Steve
