Attended Thursday and Friday in Lima but had to leave Friday night. I saw that next year is in Burlington , VT but I didn't catch the dates. Anybody write them down or get a flyer?

can't say i remember the names, but an amazing bit of hillarity upon the announcement of the K1200S winner being from ontario, the roar (in a bmw sense) of about 100 bikes, occupants ready for the split second no-win departre

No tax bill....Even though we are screwed....er...I mean taxed heavily here, there is no tax on lottery/sweepstake/casino type winnings....yet...

it was actually a woman who won it. I am sure that once things get back to somewhat normal, the wonderful folks at the office will be able to post who won the major prizes.
Let them get back home, get unpacked and back to work. Then we can see that information. As soon as the name was announced, there was an explosion of people leaving the area and it was difficult to hear who won.
To the folks bitching that they couldnt hear the announcements, take a hint, sit on the SPEAKER side of the sound system and not behind where they are projecting the sound to.

He posted this note to the Indy Club e-mail list today:
Greetings Gang
Well the beautifully restored R90S is safely in its new home here in Broad Ripple. I received a phone call from Ray Zimmerman at about 9:30 am Sunday with the news that I had won. (Wayne Garrison had already called the night before!)
I was given the option of having it shipped but volunteered to come get it. (the least I could do) Rally chairs Brian and Sue Manke spent over an hour with me talking about the bike. They organized all the work that was done to bring this machine to its present condition. Much of the work was done by them as well. Brian even took it for one last spin around the grounds.
My list of "thank you" letters will be long as so many folks were involved in this project.
My name may go on the title, but as far as I am concerned, this bike belongs to the members of the MOA and I am simply the care taker. A job that I am delighted to undertake.

Jim is the second Indianapolis BMW Club member to win a bike at an MOA national rally. Charlie Thomas (now deceased) won the K75LT at Oshkosh in 1993.
