Twin Spark, Second Relay and GS-911
Later in the production of the 2004 R1150, the stick coils were powered by a second "Load Relay". I'm curious to learn whether BMW changed the Motronic at that time to lengthened the Dwell Time on the coils at the same time they added the relay. My dwell is under 1 mS much of the time.
The R1200 which uses the same sticks, I think through '09, uses a dwell time of about 2 mS.
If anyone has the '04RT with second Load relay and could take a short GS-911 log, I'd be able to compare mine (without relay) to yours. Please send me a PM if you can.
