    05 R1150R Windshield Extension

I'm presuming that the windshield on my 05 R1150R is stock. When riding I get a lot of wind under my helmet. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on windshield extensions? I'm hoping that installing one will move the wind above my helmet.

That looks like the OEM touring shield ? same as I have on my 04 "R" I use the Wunderlich top deflector, it works fine for me. I'm 6'1" sitting on a Sargent seat, which I believe is just a-tad lower than stock.

The deflector is adjustable, and can be folded down out of the way , or easily removed if you want the air [extra hot days?] Verholen makes one as well, very similar...but I have no experience with it.

I have an 03 R1150R - same windshield. I made my own extension from an Aeroflow K1200LT headlight guard (upside down), two RAM mount balls, and a RAM short arm. Adjustable or removable.
