    Sheepskin pad

I?m thinking about buying from Alaska Leather a sheepskin for the new RT. I was wondering which size would be best. The medium buttpad or pillion 5? Anyone try it on the wethead? http://www.alaskaleatheronline.com/s...ads/Categories

Call AK Leather. Barb and her staff are always helpful. They'll know what size you need or figure it out if yours is their first Wethead RT (which I doubt).

I sent an email yesterday yep Labor Day Barb reply instantly, wow! She said they are still ?using? the Medium buttpad on the RT, and then I asked about the pillion 5, she said I could try it but didn?t have any knowledge. The size of the seat is 15 inches X 13 inches.

I was hoping maybe someone tried one, no substitute for experience 

When I got mine, I later mentioned that my knucklehead dog couldn't get enough of it.........They offered to send some scraps, just pay shipping.
    Very nice people.

You might want to ask Barb to make the front loop detachable like the rear strap. Makes it much easier to remove in a hurry in case of rain. I cut mine, added the plastic connectors and used a spare rear strap I had on hand. Works well, but were I ordering a new one I'd ask AK Leather if they would make it that way.
