    Help needed with tube connection

I have a 98 RT that was dragging a rubber tube. One side of the connector (plastic elbow) was routed around the airbox. Anyone know where each end is supposed to be connected and what purpose this serves. Photos attached. Thanks.

    Battery overflow.

    Not used with sealed batteries

I'm guessing this is the original battery overflow? If so, no longer needed since I have a gel battery

Yes, it's most likely from a past battery. The big clue is the right-angle connector: the fittings on the tank & canister vents are straight (unless the owner teed them together).

English is funny ... if it's flexible it's usually called a hose.

Guy had a fuel leak over on the R1100S forum and he called it a gas leak.
