This product works very well. It will restore the appearance of weathered plastic but will also protect it over the years. I have seen extended use of Armor All cause dashboard cracking over time. I would never use Armor All on anything I owned when there are products like Vinylex.

Not defending Armourall but it isnt the same "goop" as we know from years ago. It's now a brand name with many products not all are the milky crap you are thinking about.

You can use a product called Black Jack. It restored my old beat up Krauser bags.

I've never tried it on paint, it's meant for plastic trim, like Armor All, but far superior results. Canadian Tire carries it.

I want to use it on the plastic bumper covers. Thanks for the info.

Try using a Heat Gun at low temp. I just did all the hard plastic fender-flares on my 2001 Jeep. Outstanding restoration back to factory new.
Try it in one small area and constant moving of your hand with the heat gun or you'll roast it. Youtube has a couple instructional video's. It really works well.

The rest of all that stuff is why they get dull in the first place though I do use lemon pledge from time to time.
    Armor-All, the worst.
