    Superstakes 2013... picture yourself winning!

It's that time again in Beemerville, where a $100 Superstakes ticket gets you a bunch of chances to win a bunch of new BMW motorcycles!

All the details are here, but in brief:

    • You're eligible to win drawings for 11 brand new BMW motorcycles
    • Plus, you could win the Grand Prize: a one-of-a-kind R1200GS built by Pandora's European Motorsports
    • If you buy a ticket before May 1st, you could win another 2013 R1200 GS
    • You can win your choice of bonus prize: a "Build your Own Bike and add $5 grand worth of bling" or "New Member Twin," where your more generous side gets your buddy a new MOA membership, along with new bikes for you both

Buy your tickets online here. Ticket sales end June 30th. Winning numbers will be drawn July 20, 2013. Ticket sales will be limited to 10,000 tickets to keep the odds of winning strong! Superstakes tickets can be purchased online at bmwmoa.org or by returning the order blank from this issue of the BMW Owners News.

And if you'd like to have chances to win a free ticket every Friday, be sure to visit, like, share and post on The Superstakes Facebook Page

    But wait... there's more!

In addition to all the on-line fun, a number of BMW Dealers and related companies are making the Superstakes a big part of their spring events.

Bonny Reed will now cover her bike with $2500 worth of bling at Sills Motorsports.

And John Ihde won the same at the Port Washington BMW Club's Wild Goose Run.

Two big pieces of news in Beemerville.

    Free Ticket Friday

It starts this week on the Superstakes Facebook Page!

The schtick this year is to post pics of how you'll react when you win a bike. Be creative... and share, share, share!!!

Which way for you on the Bonus Drawing?

As you buy a Superstakes ticket, you're faced with a choice on what you'll get should you win the bonus drawing:

    - Choice 1 is to "Build your own Bike" and lather it with $5000 worth of accessories.

    - Choice 2 is the "New Member Twin" option, where a friend of yours gets a free membership and you both get free F800 GSs.

The odds area *extremely* favorable for the New Member Twin option. Extremely favorable.

Which way are you gonna go?

Why are the odds better for one option than the other?

That would be because more buyers have chosen Bonus Drawing A....Could it be that many of them have no friends? I guess the better question is will the "B" drawing winner give that second bike to their newest friend??? lol....

Word is that about 600 Superstakes ticket buyers have chosen the New Member Twin bonus. That makes the odds very good for that particular bonus drawing.

Free Ticket Fridays start this week.

What will you look like when you win a new bike?

Here's a way to win a quick hundred bucks in value, at a minimum, and a brand new bike (or more) as well.

Go to the Superstakes Facebook page, like it, **share it*** and post a pic of what you'd look like when you won a bike. Be creative... you can do it.

Someone will win a free ticket each Friday, selected from everyone who submits an image. Remember... be creative!

So it isn't drawing a winning ticket and that ticket has chosen either A or B, it's drawing one ticket from batch A and another from batch B? In that case I understand how the odds would differ.

You are correct. These are actually two separate drawings. When a ticket is purchased, it is specified as either Bonus Drawing A or Bonus Drawing B. When the big day comes, we will draw a number from the pool of tickets in Bonus Drawing A and then a number from the pool of tickets in Bonus Drawing B. As of now, Bonus Drawing A - "Choose any motorcycle" - has been the favorite. Bonus Drawing B - "Win a pair of F800GS" only has about 600 numbers in it at the moment.

With less than 30 days remaining to buy a ticket, the odds of winning could be better than 1 in 1,000!. Not bad.
