    '08 RT factory harness GPS connector

    OK, I KNOW I have seen a thread wiith this information, and I thought it was on this forum.

    But, can I find it - Nooooooo....

    Please - BMW p/n for the pigtail connector that plugs into the factory harness connector for GPS power - under/in front of the gauges.

    I'm gonna be embarrassed, I Know - thanks anyway!

    The connector, which is covered with a plastic cap, is zip-tied to the throttle-side frame under the tank. See the red wire above.

    And that same connector exists on some other models as well, always zip tied in an easy to find up front location. I just used it on a K1200GT, where it was tied right behind the triple tree..

    GPS connection

    A friend of mine said his garmin zumo 660LM harness had an end that plugged directly into the BMW plug on his RT. Plug and play.

    Why does everyone say another part is needed?

    Forgot to note that the connector in my photo above is off a 2011+ R12R. The plug was more buried on my '09. With bright light, you'll find it.
