    Coming from Eastearn Canada (Montreal)

I am planning my trip to the 2014 Rally.

I will be coming from the East (Montreal).

    Any recommended routes?

    Many thanks.

    JPK1100.

Cross at the border at Sault Ste. Marie. Then head west and southwest through some of the smaller highways. There are some nice roads in Upper Michigan but #28 is rather boring to Munising.

I'll be coming that way, let me know if you'd like to ride together. Thanks.

    Thanks everyone.

    Lake Superior seems a must.

Now? going back home? My first choice would be Mackinaw City and Sault-Ste-Marie.

Any other suggestions? What about going through Chicago?

Never go through Chicago if you don't have to!

You could take the SS Badger ferry across Lake Michigan and avoid Chicago.
