I don't see any evidence of having a hitch. The seller never mentioned it. No wiring etc.....

You said you are looking to change out your seat... I just did mine and put together a video run done of what I had done if it helps any.

Of course the one thing I must correct you on... BLACK is the fastest color, everyone knows that!
Of course BLACK, why didn't I think of that????

    Nice video.

I'm sold on the Kontour. Put it on the bike, rode 5,000 in one month including an Iron Butt ride to Redmond. Never even thought about the seat. It did it's job, was cool, comfortable and I loved it. Unfortunately, I let it go when I sold my previous RT.

So it's a matter of time till I save up enough motorcycle bucks to buy another.

But if you buy my Remus exhaust, I will be closer.

    Saddle Up?

    SiBud,
    Been there...
Still there... and lovin' my lady in Graphite Grey.
I'm reading that your baby might need a better seat.
Got an OEM Saddle from my '04 RT to donate to the cause, NOS.
Check your numbers and see if it will work.
If you want it, send me a pm.
    Ride on,
    Jim

    Ditto That...

Bought mine two years and 20k miles ago. The more I ride it the more I love it. I just finished a 3000 mi. week long trip and I'm ready to go get her out of the garage and do it again.

I couldn't deal with the stock seat that was on mine and found a BMW comfort seat on Ebay for a give away price. It' been on there a year now and long days in the saddle are a no brainier, no complaints.

I too have my stock one sitting in the garage, let me know if you need one, pay the shipping and it's yours.

    Cheers

I am very fond of my 99 RT. It has 38,000 miles on it and significantly more value to me than anybody would ever pay me for it. So I decided to keep it and not trade it in when I bough the K1600GT.
Oh...and btw...The Graphite ones with the checkered flags are the fastest.....

So, where did you get the graphics on that RT? Very nice.

Thank you! It is a vinyl car decal that I modified to fit the RT.
