    When you say GS are you referring to...

    The R1xxxGS only

    Or are you including the F and G series also?

    I don't presume to speak for everyone, but I include anything BMW makes that has the GS or g/s designation. They're all conceived with "gelande-strasse" in mind, and all worthy of the title.

    GS would include all bikes of that designation. Otherwise you need to identify which line and model if you want to narrow it down.

    The GS Giants refer to all GS's as well as anyone interested in getting off the beaten path.
