Passing on this because will be heading to the same area the week before this for the BMWLT's Sprint Training Camp at the Ironhorse Lodge. If you have an interest, check it out at BMWLT.com. Seems like the MOA weekends always overlap with BMWLT events in the Southeast, coincidence?

DonÔÇÖt forget that the following weekend is also the BMW Motorcycle Club of GeorgiaÔÇÖs annual Georgia Mountain Rally (GMR) in Hiawassee, Georgia. Hiawassee is only 75 miles or so south of the MOA weekendÔÇÖs base at Fontana Village Resort/Fontana Dam, and 95 miles south west of the Old School Spring Rally base at Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground/Cruso. Both are about two hoursÔÇÖ ride time. Something to consider for anyone staying in the area thatÔÇÖs staying in the area. ThereÔÇÖs details about the GMR in this thread: 2013 Georgia Mountain Rally info ???

The Georgia Mountain Rally, too.
Well, not always. We're getting a double whammy this year, since the RA rally is in Asheville in June. Needless to say, our registrations are down.
To the original post, I've laid out the rides for the MOA event and will be leading an adventure ride.

Year #9 version of Spring Training Camp always held at Ironhorse Lodge and Campground... www.ironhorsenc.com
Twice a year we gather with BMW owners and friends to just ride, eat, sleep and repeat... no fees, just get a reservation with Ironhorse.
On occasion, we throw in a seminar or tech session... this year on Friday there will a Garmin BaseCamp Jam Session to get folks over the steep learning curve of this great program.
Did I mention the part about eating and riding? (Hint: Saturday night Prime Rib is a 11 on scale of 1-10..)
Plenty of camping... if Ironhorse is full, nearby motels open around April 1 in that area...
BTW.... the MOA function at Fontana Village is the next weekend...
