I am planning on buying a R1200 RT and was planning on getting an alarm for it. My question is Should I go with the standard BMW Alarm? Or is there a better one out there that is recommended? Also thoughts on LoJack as I know it gets a discount on insurance? I currently have an R1150 Rockster w/ an aftermarket Alarm by Scorpio. it is a nice alarm w/ many features (like vibration sensor, tilt sensor, kill switch, etc.) but the aaa batteries in the remote drain so fast it is more annoying than worth at times.
