    Clutch Interlock switch...how?

Ok, all. I've successfully isolated my starting problem down to a failed clutch-interlock switch (R1100RSL). Does anyone have a good trick for getting on the jam nut of the old switch to get it out, and for getting onto the jam nut of the new one to install it? I did a quick search of the forum and came up with nuttin'.

    Thanks in advance.

The easiest thing is to cut the wires going to the switch, wire them together and just leave it like that. I'm told you can use a pair of needlenose pliers to reach in and turn the switch out but I've never tried it.

Cut the wires on the old switch. Slip a deep socket (11 mm maybe) down over the wires and onto the switch.
To reinstall, use a pair of thin needlenose pliers to snug the new one up. It doesn't have to be more than snug.
