    new shock on R100gs

Maybe someone can help,, I just put a new progressive rear shock on and it pivots some on the mounts and I was wondering if that is normal for progressive. I know its not for stock. thx

"Pivots on the mounts" could mean two different things. If it is loose on the bolts because bushings are missing that is one issue. If the shock itself has spherical bushings that the bolts go through (OEM had cylindrical bushings) then that pivoting would be normal.
