Seeing who the seller was, it's most likely the rubber overboot kit for a R1200 series Hexhead.
It's a rubber temporary cover to patch a cracked or slightly damaged rocker cover so you can get home. A good GS item to carry for some![]()

Ah, there ya go. Another advantage of riding an old airhead ... they all come OEM equipped with two emergency valve covers.It's a rubber temporary cover to patch a cracked or slightly damaged rocker cover so you can get home.
