Are the saddlebag mounts and rear rack the same on a /6 and /7?

there were several varieties of Krauser (and Reynolds) bag mounts available (assuming that is the brand of saddlebag you are referring to). those that incorporated a rear rack were designed to be used on the standard bench seat, rather than the S/RS saddle. but there was no difference between a std /6 and a std /7- same rear subframe, same bags, same mounts.

I have /6 Wixom mounts on my /7 and I had a /5 LWB rear rack mounted (until it broke), as well.

They are, except the mounts that are connected to each other by a rear rack don't fit the bikes with seat cowls, i.e. RS, S, RT.
