Single wheel trailers

I am wanting to buy a trailer to pull behind my RT for those long trips we sometimes take. I have been looking at the Uni-Go trailers, they are a single wheeled type that looks like just about the right size for my use. What I was wanting to know is are they hard to pull, do they make your bike hard to control, and do they pull hard, or am I looking at the wrong type of trailer?
