K75 Ethanol-Resistant Fuel Pump Vibration Damper

I read Paul Glaves' tech article about checking the fuel pump vibration damper in K75s a couple times a year because the OEM part is not ethanol resistant. I figured I would buy a spare before I started digging.

That is when I found an ethanol-resistant damper at Bob's BMW for K-bikes:

$75.00 for a small molded plastic part and one of the selling points is that it's cheaper than the BMW OEM part?

That is only part of it.

The main thing is that it is ethanol resistant and the OEM part is not, which must be checked regularly and eventually replaced.

I passed the link on to a mechanic friend, who told me BeemerBoneyard also offers ethanol resistant pump dampers.

Just a FWIW - there appears to be more then one source.
