"Get-a-Mac"......got an I-book g4. One reason I went with Mac was my job as a DSL tech with Bellsouth. Never have I gone on a trouble where you could run the trouble to a Mac anything! Close as I could get was a customer who had bought a new G-5 and upgraded to DSL at the same time and he was trying to access DSL through his dial-up. That won't work.
That's when I discovered Mac's web browser is Safari. Figured someone at Mac must be a Beach Boy fan..you konw, Surfin-Safari...surfin the net...all that.
Then I saw that little roundel they use for waiting for a download.
Anyway, think of all the IT folks who wouldn't have a job if everyone used Mac!
Hope you enjoy the new toy.

Welcome to the land of enchantment. Do not drink the cool aid or try to turn your little box into a gaming platform and all will be well.

Let me be the first to welcome you back from the Dark Side. You'll wonder how you ever did it any other way. I've been Mac(k)ing since 1987 and have never looked back.
